Fostering a curiosity for different fields of STEM research.
Science is so vast and diverse; there's so much that remains to be known. Students should take advantage of the knowledge gaps of these fields and explore their research interests.
Ensuring equal access to research guidance.
We believe all students can conduct research, regardless of whether their schools provide research seminars or not. We provide in-person seminars at hosting schools in NYC and online seminars everywhere else.
Providing ongoing support for students interested in research, at no cost.
We don't think the research journey stops after one seminar. That's why we pledge to continue our support of students enrolled in our programs without any fees.
About Modulus Research
We aim to empower students to lean into what they don't know.
Our mission is to attempt to close the gap in STEM education in NYC middle/high schools by specifically fostering a passion for research. The goal of the initiative is to host research seminars at schools absent from citywide fairs and support students to pursue the following:

Apply to institutional labs (supported by our cover letter writing and resume writing workshops)

Write research papers for submission to competitions

Design research posters/slides for presentation in science fairs

Deliver research presentations for science fairs or class assignments

Deliver elevator speeches on research in an effective, and comprehensive manner

Read the course descriptions to find your preferred level of courses.
Step 2. Select and Schedule
Choose the classes you'd like us to hold at your school. Fill out the appropriate forms indicating your preferred classes, as well as the times and dates that work best.
Step 3. Enroll
Click "Enroll" and you're done!
